Heard a radio news report concerning the Negroponte appointment while driving tonight. I don't recall whose feed it was, but it included a sound bite from Stansfield Turner, who was expressing concern about whether Negroponte was the most appropriate choice for this job.

I found this rather reassuring concerning this appointment. If formaer Carter protege Turner is concerned, then Negroponte is probably going to be pretty good.
