Citizen lobbyists plead their personal causes
Very interesting article. Looks to the Chief like a way to effectively multiply the impact of one's political influence. Of course it DOES require up close and personal effort and contact (which lots of folks won't do), and for most of SD, some travel to get to Pierre. Like they say, no pain, no gain! Most people don't become olympic athletes either, although they may admire the result on the tube every 4 years.
